China Travel Itinerary
OCTOBER 26: Arrive in Beijing; dinner with cousins Tim and Albert.
OCTOBER 27: Hike part of the Great Wall; meet the other adopting families from our agency with whom we'll meet up with again in Guangzhou.
OCTOBER 28: Tour Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City; evening flight on our own to Nanchang, Jiangxi.
OCTOBER 29: Gotcha' Day! Meet Darcy and Chinese registration process and Chinese passport application.
OCTOBER 30: Meet with Notary at Civil Affairs.
OCTOBER 31: Tour Nanchang and rest.
NOVEMBER 1: Tour Nanchang and rest.
NOVEMBER 2: Receive Darcy's Chinese passport and fly to Guangzhou.
NOVEMBER 3: Survive Darcy's visa physical.
NOVEMBER 4: Tour Guangzhou.
NOVEMBER 5: American visa interview at US consulate; Darcy's physical with CAWLI physician Dr. Nasenbeny.
NOVEMBER 6: Take oath at U.S. consulate at 4:00 pm.
NOVEMBER 7: Fly from Guangzhou to Beijing and then from Beijing to Dulles and home sweet home.
Aaawwww!! And it looks like he is not, as the earlier pics might mislead one to think, built like the michelin man, but actually a pretty small guy :). Congrats - can't wait to meet him.
Your son is quickly learning what a lucky boy he is to have you as parents! He is adorable. I'm sure each day will get easier. Hugs to you all! I'm glad Mama & Papa Lo are there for you.

Wish I was one of the lucky ones who'll get to meet him when you get home. I'm still in London, but who knows, maybe life will bring me over your way (before Darcy graduates from college!).
